Indonezijske vlasti nude nagradu onome tko spasi slatkovodnog krokodila kojem je motociklistička guma kao omča omotana oko vrata. I to preživi.

Zadatak nije nimalo jednostavan i bezopasan. Gmaz je dug 4 metra i s gumom oko vrata pliva već godinama.

Vlasti grada Palua na Sulawesiju već dugo pokušavaju i ne uspijevaju riješiti problem.

Na posljednjoj videosnimci vidi se kako krokodil teško diše, što je izazvalo zabrinutost da ga guma polako ubija.

Iznos nagrade nije objavljen, ali je tamošnja agencija za zaštitu prirode naglasila da u pomoć ne zove amatere.

"Njih molimo da ne prilaze blizu krokodilu i ne uzmemiravaju ga. Trebaju nam osobe s iskustvom u spašavanju životinja u divljini", rekao je Hasmuni Hasmar, šef agencije.
