Fires around city of Split are under control. Croatian minister of tourism Gari Cappelli expressed regret for all the residents and tourists who stayed in the danger area, and then thanked all the fire departments, volunteers and others who are making tremendous efforts in struggling with fire.
He points out that, although the fire extinguishing continues, according to information from the terrain there is no danger of major threats for tourists in this area and that the overall situation is under control.
Air traffic from and to Split is normal, ferries and buses are operating regularly.
Gli incendi attorno alla città di Spalato sono sotto il controllo. Il ministro croato del turismo Gari Cappelli ha espresso il suo rammarico per tutti i residenti e per i turisti che sono rimasti nell'area pericolosa, e poi ha ringraziato tutti i servizi incendi, i volontari e altri che stanno compiendo enormi sforzi per lottare con un incendio. Egli sottolinea che, sebbene l'estinzione del fuoco continua, secondo le informazioni provenienti dal terreno, non vi è pericolo di minacce per i turisti in questa zona e che la situazione generale sia sotto controllo.
Il traffico aereo da e per Spalato è normale, i traghetti e gli autobus funzionano regolarmente.
