Jedan od šefova meksičke narkomafije Joaquin Guzman, poznatiji kao El Chapo ('Kratki') pobjegao je iz zatvora po drugi put.
Moćni šef narko kartela Sinaloa kojeg mnogi nazivaju meksičkim Osamom bin Ladenom pobjegao je iz strogo čuvanog zatvora Altiplano kroz razrađenu mrežu tunela ispod njegove ćelije koji su vodili do obližnje zgrade.
Guzman je zadnji put viđen pod tušem u zatvoru Altiplano u subotu navečer, a čak 18 zatvorskih djelatnika nalazi se pod istragom zbog njegovog bijega.

Guzman je 2001. pobjegao iz meksičkog zatvora koji je imao posebno osiguranje. Sakrio se u u košari za prljavo rublje nakon što je podmitio čuvare u zatvoru. Služio je kaznu dužu od 20 godina nakon što su ga uhitili u Gvatemali 1993.
