Jafar Panahi opet uhićen i sad je u zatvoru

Panahi, a vocal backer of the opposition movement, was arrested along with his family and guests during a raid on his Tehran home, his son said on March 2, 2010. Panahi, his wife and daughter as well as 15 guests were arrested by security agents and taken to an unknown location, the son said, adding that the agents had searched the house and confiscated personal belongings and computers. Many Iranian artists, facing tough censorship under President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, backed his rival Mir Hossein Mousavi in the June election, which the opposition charged was rigged to keep the hardliner in power. TEHERAN - Svjetski priznati iranski filmaš Jafar Panahi , deklarirani pristaša iranske opozicije, uhićen je u svojem domu u Teheranu te s cijelom obitelji i prisutnim gostima odveden na nepoznato mjesto, tvrdi njegov sin Panah Panahi.

Tvorac filmova “Krug” i “Offside” i ljetos je bio uhićen nakon komemoracije za ubijenu studenticu Nedu, a zbog zabrane putovanja ne može ići na festivale.
