WASHINGTON - Američki predsjednik Barack Obama priprema se imenovati viceadmirala Michaela Rogersa direktorom NSA-e, američke agencije za nacionalnu sigurnost, koja je u središtu kritika zbog globalnog špijuniranja i zadiranja u privatan život, naveo je u ponedjeljak Washington Post.

Bijela kuća nije željela komentirati informacije Posta. Prema pisanju dnevnog lista, časnika je prošli tjedan primio predsjednik, koji ga je odlučio imenovati nakon što u ožujku u mirovinu ode direktor NSA-e general Keith Alexander, na tom položaju od 2005.

Viceadmiral Rogers (53), čije imenovanje treba potvrditi Senat, zadržat će dvostruku dužnost, direktora NSA-e i šefa Cyber zapovjedništva.

Misija NSA-e je nadzirati komunikacije koje su sve češće putem interneta, dok je zadaća Cyber zapov...
